Ayah memorized
Surah Al-Ikhlas, ayah 1 of 4. The rest are in the app, on the same trail.
Every new ayah goes through five steps
The method is right on the screen, so you never have to think about what comes next. Finish a step and the bar fills up.
- 1Listen
The reciter reads and the word being read lights up. Each word shows its pronunciation and translation.
- 2Read
Now you read it aloud. The transliteration and translation are right in front of you.
- 3Hide
Words are covered one at a time. Say the hidden ones from memory, and peek if you need to.
- 4Build
Put the ayah together from word tiles in the right order. A mistake shows up right away.
- 5Recite
Recite the ayah by heart and check it against the text. After that, the ayah is confirmed.
A confirmed ayah comes back so you don't forget it
After each review, the next one moves further out. Remember the ayah, and the gap grows. Find it hard, and it comes back tomorrow.

The path fills in, the streak goes on
At the end of a lesson you see how many ayahs you learned and reviewed. A confirmed ayah turns green on the path.
- Day counted. One lesson adds a day to your streak.
- Closing dua. A short dua at the end of the lesson.
- Test yourself. A 3-minute quiz on what you have learned: pairs, what comes next, order.

30juz on your shelf
You choose which surah to start with
Open a surah and tap “Learn this surah”. New ayahs will come from it, starting with the first ayah. When the surah is done, the path goes back to its usual order.

What if I can't read Arabic?
That's fine. Every word shows its pronunciation and translation, and the reciter highlights the word being read. You listen and repeat.
How much time does it take a day?
One lesson takes about 10 minutes: review first, then a new ayah.
Is it free?
You can start Hifz for free, with a daily limit on new ayahs and tests. A MUSA Hafiz subscription removes the limit.
Can I memorize without a teacher?
MUSA handles the lesson order, the review schedule and the tests. If you study with an ustaz, you can do your daily memorization here.
